What started out as a temporary installation for the Emerging Technology in Art (ETA) Festival in Jackson, Michigan, turned into a partially permanent installation that transforms a pocket in downtown Jackson into a saturated landscape every night. Brought to you by Jackson Young Professionals and 3M, YayaLand Takeover III is the third rendition of an immersive experience that explores how light alone can create an ephemeral presence. This iteration transformed the entire ETA Festival site by readdressing the existing lighting in order to create a colorful and euphoric atmosphere. This experiential installation became an impromptu collaboration with world-renowned artists who created outstanding murals throughout the city of Jackson for a project called "Bright Walls" in the years prior.
