Timeless Clock
Using the gridded pattern that often illustrates our space-time fabric as a reference, this kinetic wall sculpture suggests what a clock would behave like if it could not distinguish time. This interactive sconce allows viewers to manipulate and choose how they perceive time in their personal reality. By spinning the back plate, the lights are then projected through the perforated steel onto the landscape of the glass, creating moments of distortion and orderly chaos. The lights also reflect back onto the wall, creating vibrant galactic projections that move with the piece, along with a shadow that resembles the hand of a clock.
