Mirror, Mirror
Blown and Mirrored Glass (2019)
Over time, more and more quantum physics discoveries have continued to suggest that we as a collective being create our own our realities. These theories explain that our physical realities are created through our consciousness in order to understand the physical world around us. Our minds are incapable of physically comprehending what is true, such as the vibrational frequencies that connect us all. This wall piece focuses on literally flipping the viewer’s perspective to suggest that reality isn’t what it seems. The crackle effect and transparency of the glass are apparent in some components of this piece to give a sense of the reality as we know it fading away to reveal what is truly real.
