Portal
Projection, Fog (2019)
Quantum physics studies often discuss the existence of the multiverse and parallel universes, and the potentiality of accessing these multiple dimensions through internal portals of consciousness. “Portal” is an installation containing a vibrant spectrum of colors that allows viewers to completely immerse themselves in a massive tunnel of light. This piece suggests what a portal to another dimension might look and feel like. The first two images reveal the perspective when inside of the portal, while the third image shows a side-view of people walking through the beam of light. To experience this installation through videos, check out @yazdabart "Experiential" Highlight on Instagram by clicking on the Instagram icon at the bottom of the page, or through a Vimeo video by clicking on any of the three images above.
