Blown and Coldworked Glass, Steel (2019)
“Realm” reflects balance and manifests the idea of otherworldly portals in the form of a sculptural object. The thickness of the glass creates an optical illusion of the piece being completely solid, though it is hollow. The organic nature of the steel stand led to the creation of more complex steel formations that now dominate my practice in a variety of ways.
