Aura
Blown and Assembled Glass, Steel, Wood (2020)
"Aura" represents the energy field that surrounds and envelopes an individual. In the metaphysical realm, it is believed that molecular vibrations create the colors that make up an aura. Every particle in the universe transmutes itself into frequencies and patterns. The molecules that make up our auras radiate from our bodies as vibrational patterns, which can be perceived as colors to those who have trained their eye to reach a higher vibrational level in which these unseen energies and frequencies exist. As you examine this wall sculpture, you'll notice shifts in vibrant colors that transform through the optics of the glass at different angles. The transparency of the glass embodies the unseen energy that surrounds us all, while the shifting colors portray the vibrational patterns that are often perceived as vivid colors to many intuitive individuals.
