Immersive Sculpture II
Slumped & Sandblasted Glass, Projection, Acrylic, Experimental Film, Foam (2021)
This body of work explores the "phygital" phenomenon— where the physical and digital connect and create two different immersive experiences. This installation includes both the physical sculpture and the experimental film installation. The projection on the wall is a digital documentation of the physical sculpture that I translated into an experimental film. One of many in my Immersive Sculpture Series, this piece takes a place of familiarity in nature and distorts it on a crafted landscape-- suggesting the distortion our perspectives create in our personal realities.
