My work explores the questions of life that prose what we are, why we are and how we're all connected. Physically, we are matter and matter is made up of energy. Energy can neither be created nor destroyed, only transferred. I see this transference of energy as vibrational frequencies transcending the cosmic membrane that make up our universe. “Transcend” expresses the unseen energy field that permeates through the universe connecting us all. The transparency of this piece can be seen as the membrane in which the vibrational energy exists. The movement of the steel suggests the rhythmical pattern created from the vibrational energy that surround and transcend time and space, connecting everything in the universe.
